Carve Night
Carve tonight’s pumpkin with your thumb, light the candle, and let the trick-or-treaters pay you in candy.
Made for a phone held upright: one thumb, no install, and it opens straight into the game. On a desktop it runs in the frame, framed the way Snapchat shows it.
The game
A pumpkin on a front porch at dusk, your own face chalked on it as a stencil. Draw a closed loop and the piece pops out and tumbles onto the boards; drill dots, scrape the skin thin so it glows, drag beside the pumpkin to turn it. After 90 seconds of candle you light it: the lid comes off, the porch goes dark and the candle throws your carving onto the floor and the wall. Then tonight’s visitors walk up and judge it: the ghost wants it bright, the vampire wants sharp teeth, the mummy wants it neat, and the last guest is you, paying triple for your own face.
One number on Snapchat’s leaderboard: tonight’s candy, from the same line-up of visitors for everyone that day. Your Bitmoji’s head is the stencil you carve, so the reveal throws your own face onto the wall, and your 3D Bitmoji hosts on the porch in a nightly costume and walks up to judge it.
